Which Visa?
Tourist/Short Stay L Visa: L visas are tourist visas for visits to China of up to 3 months. They are usually issued for 90 days though can sometimes be for 30 or 60 days depending on the reciprocal arrangements the Chinese government has with your home country. Once in Dalian we can help you extend your L visa so you can stay for up to 4 months in China. L visas can be converted to an F or X type visa in Dalian if you register for a course at one of our partner universities.
Business/Visitors F Visa: F visas are issued for 6 months, and can be extended up to one year in China. Chinese in China can assist students to obtain an L visa if you plan to study for 3 months or more. Students coming to study for one semester will usually use an F visa. To obtain an F visa, you need a letter of invitation which we can provide after you have registered for a semester long course and the $250 course deposit has been paid.
Study X-visa: This is a 12 month multiple entry visa used by students studying for an academic year. To obtain an X visa requires a JW-202 form, a completed medical exam form and a letter of invitation from a Chinese college or university. We can send these forms to you once you have paid your US $250 course deposit.
